The thick, middle layer of the Earth. It is very hot and made of rock that can move very, very slowly—kind of like thick playdough.

A deep layer made of melted metal. It is super hot and flows like a liquid, just like hot, bubbling soup.
Inner Core
The very center of the Earth. Even though it is the hottest part, it is a solid ball of metal because the rest of the Earth is pushing down on it so hard.
