CULTURE CHAMPIONS

  • Focused on supporting staff and strengthening our workplace culture by:
    • increasing the employee travel Meal Rates Policy and to lift some of the restrictions on the Ramp card, so it more accurately reflects current costs and supports staff while traveling.
Mission & Vision

The Culture Champions Committee plays a vital role in shaping our organization's culture by aligning with our Strategic Plan and championing a Trust and Inspire workplace. We believe in a strengths-based approach where every individual has the capacity to lead, and follow the Leadership Principles from Kansas Leadership Center. Through thoughtful review of policies and procedures, we make recommendations that reflect these values. We're here to cultivate an environment where trust thrives, inspiration flows, and everyone’s strengths are recognized and celebrated.

    • The committee also applied for, received, and is now overseeing the 2026 Leadership Transformation Grant from the Kansas Leadership Center. We facilitated an interactive activity introducing the Kansas Leadership Center’s Leadership Competencies at our One Team in‑person meeting.
  • We reviewed and helped shift the End‑of‑Year Performance Reviews into a more reflective and growth‑oriented process, now called Year‑End Reflection and Growth.
Moving Forward:
  • As we continue our work, we are in the process of reviewing the 90‑Day Touch Point through a Trust and Inspire, strengths‑based lens to better support connection, engagement, and early success for employees.

FAMILY FRIENDLY WORKPLACE
