Rights & Duties | Formal vs Plain English

Being able to clearly and accurately explain the rules to citizens has a tremendous impact on reducing the amount of non-compliant occurrences, among other advantages. The following activity offers an opportunity to practice your rephrasing skills. Each card contains a sentence/phrase in formal English and you must rephrase it in plain English while keeping the information accurate. A PDF file will be archived after class so you can revisit this activity, if you wish.
