How does music affect our generation?
Music influences most aspects of young people's life, everywhere from fashion, lifestyle and mood. The 21st century is characterized by a large variety of genres. These days any style/concept is considered valuable.

We chose sport for our generation, because they are much more than just physical activity: they’re a way to feel good, express ourselves, and build authentic relationships. We live in a fast-paced world, filled with stress, social media, and constant pressure; doing sports helps us disconnect from the digital grind, free ourselves from anxiety, and improve our mental balance.

Social media in our generation represent a fundamental part of everyday life, to the point that many people have become dependent on them. Today they are a very important resource because they offer many functions and opportunities, as long as they are used in the right way.
On the one hand, they are very useful because they allow us to meet new people, have job opportunities, learn new languages, and share ideas and experiences.However, they can become a problem for people who use them excessively or incorrectly. Many times, social media have been a source of cyberbullying and other negative behaviors that have affected many people.
For this reason, it is important to remember that everything has both positive and negative aspects, but what really matters is knowing how to use social media responsibly and in a balanced way.

Weaknesses
Young people today are growing up in a rapidly changing world shaped by technology, social expectations, and new ways of communicating. Their generation faces challenges and opportunities that are very different from those of the past, influencing the way they think, behave, and see the future. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of today’s youth is important to better understand modern society and the difficulties many young people experience in their daily lives. The reason why we decided to talk about this topic is to better represent our generation and bring attention to feelings and struggles that are often ignored or not considered as important as they truly are.

Becoming famous nowadays...
In the past, becoming famous in music usually depended on record labels, radio stations, TV appearances, and industry connections. Artists often spent years performing live, handing out demo tapes, and trying to get signed because only a few companies controlled who the public could hear. Fame was slower and more controlled by “gatekeepers.”
Today, platforms like TikTok have completely changed that system. Artists can upload short clips directly to millions of people without needing a label first. Songs now blow up through trends, edits, dances, memes, and algorithms instead of radio play. Fame can happen almost overnight because social media spreads music extremely fast.
For example, Lil Nas X became famous after “Old Town Road” exploded on TikTok through memes and videos. The biggest difference is that older artists needed industry approval first, while modern artists can sometimes build an audience first and let the industry follow afterward.

Bad Bunny, an example of freedom
With the Super Bowl, he reminded us that racism and hate without reason are still in our society. As reference, Trump, (the president of the United States by the way) right after the show posted a note where he defines that as the worst show ever, he also said that is an affront of the Greatness of America. As a celebrity, we expected from Bad Bunny an higly-priced outfit, but he wore ZARA instead. That was planned, because this brand is the emblem of chic-budget friendly, almost anyone can wear ZARA.

The current generation of young people has multiple different traits that are uncommon in previous generations. It's as if the mentality in the world has changed as a whole. There are new ways of living, new ways of accepting truths and new values that are recognisable from a distance. Technology has played a significant role in shaping the new generation, by implementing newer more advanced forms of communication, that allow better access to media and therefore interests, such as music, fashion, sports, which are the passions we can share through social medias.

sport is very important for our genaration because it helps people stay healthy,active,and disciplined. It also teaches teamwork,respect,and determination.
How modern style and music are connected:
Using Playboi Carti:
Modern streetwear fashion is basically about turning clothing into an identity instead of just something practical or stylish. Playboi Carti is a good example because his influence goes beyond music — people copy the entire atmosphere around him. Earlier streetwear was more connected to skateboarding, hip-hop, sneakers, and simple branded pieces like hoodies, graphic tees, and Jordans. It was casual, clean, and rooted in specific real-world scenes.Carti represents the newer version of streetwear that came from the internet era. His style mixes luxury fashion, punk, goth, rockstar energy, and chaos. Instead of dressing “clean” or traditionally fashionable, he often wears oversized black clothing, leather, designer boots, distressed pieces, skinny silhouettes, and dramatic accessories. Brands like Rick Owens and Balenciaga became popular partly because artists like him made dark, exaggerated fashion feel cool and futuristic.

Tyler, the Creator represents a modern type of artist that was much rarer in older eras of music because he moves between genres, aesthetics, and creative roles without being boxed into one identity. In older music industries, artists were usually marketed very strictly. A rapper was expected to stay a rapper, a rock artist stayed rock, and labels often avoided major stylistic changes because they wanted a predictable audience and stable sales. Musicians depended heavily on radio formats, record stores, and label branding, so switching sounds too much could damage a career. What makes him unusual is not just that he experiments with sound, but that he controls entire creative worlds around each project. He produces much of his own music, designs visuals, directs videos, builds fashion aesthetics, and changes his persona with every era. In older music culture, these roles were usually separated between labels, stylists, producers, and marketing teams. Tyler operates more like a multidisciplinary creative director than a traditional rapper.

We are now in the great year 2026, and contemporary artists of all kinds exist, as can be seen in the other sections of the museum, and many people prefer new styles of music. Nevertheless, although not as many as for contemporary music, many people prefer music from the past such as metal, '80s pop, and jazz, which still influence the clothing and character of young people and adults through the emotions and principles that music conveys. Among the main exponents of these genres are Sinantra, ACDC, ABBA, Micheal Jackson and many others.
