Shari'a vs Fiqh
In simple terms: - Shari's is god's perfect law. -Fiqh is people trying to understand that law. - So, since humans are not perfect, they would come up with different answers on how to understand it.

- There were different types of islamic schools, teaching different things/ideas. Meaning that theres not one singular correcr version of islamic law.
-Different schools would disagree on how to prove a crime. -The Quran requires 4 witnesses, while stoning comes from hadith. Thats how they normally punish

The government today shows Islamic law as one singular rule everyone follows. This erases historical diversity and ends up creating the false claims people believe like the sharia demand stoning.
If the islamic law has many interpretations who should be able to decide which interpretations becomes a law for Muslims Today?
