What is Fair Use?
Fair Use in the classroom is what allows teachers to use copyrighted material for educational purposes. However, there are many guidelines that you should follow to make sure you are safely using the material.

Memes and gif's: Teachers may use if they are being used for an educational purpose.
Videos: Teachers may use videos in the classroom, it just must be for instructional purposes. It may not be used for entertainment.

Photocopying of printed materials: Teachers may make multiple copies for classroom use. However, only one copy is allowed per student and things like workbooks cannot be copied.

Music: Teachers may use up to 30 seconds per musical composition. It must also have an educational purpose.
Digital pics found online: Images may be downloaded for student projects and teacher lessons. Teachers are not allowed to repost images on the internet without permission.
