Pourquoi on offre du muguet ?

Si on ne travaille pas, c’est surtout parce que c’est la fête du travail. C’est une façon de mettre à l’honneur tous les gens qui travaillent. Dans les années 1800, les usines ont besoin de beaucoup de gens pour travailler.
Les patrons veulent gagner un maximum d’argent et ils se soucient peu de leurs ouvriers : ils les font travailler durement et les paient peu. En plus, les journées sont longues : parfois 10h de travail par jour. On dit que les ouvriers sont exploités : ils travaillent beaucoup, durement et ne sont pas bien payés.

LA FIN DE LA GUERRE
Le 8 mai 1945, la guerre se termine en Europe. L'Allemagne perd la guerre. On
dit qu'elle capitule. C'est la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale en Europe.
En 1944, les Alliés arrivent en France. Le 6 juin 1944, Ils débarquent en Normandie. Ils avancent petit à petit. L'Allemagne perd la guerre.
Le 8 mai 1945, la guerre est finie en Europe. L'armistice est signé. Le 8 mai 1945, les gens sont heureux. Ils descendent dans les rues pour fêter la victoire. Mais certains sont aussi tristes car beaucoup de personnes sont mortes pendant la guerre. Aujourd'hui, le 8 mai est un jour férié. On fait des cérémonies pour se souvenir.

le 14 juillet 1789 c'est la date que les révolutionnaires, des citoyens français qui voulaient plus de liberté et d’égalité, sont entrés dans la Bastille, une forteresse qui représentait le pouvoir du Roi. Cet événement est devenu le symbole de la lutte du peuple pour sa liberté et de la Révolution. Ensuite, de nombreuses avancées ont eu lieu et le Roi a été remplacé par un système plus démocratique.
Pour se souvenir de cette histoire, les Français célèbrent le 14 juillet en tirant des feux d’artifices, en se réunissant en famille ou entre amis et en allant danser lors de bals. Un grand défilé a aussi lieu chaque année sur les Champs-Élysées.
