Brasilia

We chose Brasilia, capital of Brazil, because it is a very beautiful city with many activities to do and places to visit.

To move around the city we rented a car with a total cost of forty euros

Travel

We departed from the airport of Bologna at 12.45 and arrived ito brasilia at 9.05 with three flight changes. The outward journey cost 604 euros each while the return journey cost 516.

We arrived at the Juscelino Kubitischek airport at 9.05 and with an uber that we paid 4.50 euros we arrived at the hotel Athos Bulcao hpuls executve which is 15 km from the airport

After checking into the hotel, we went to our room to unpack our bags and then we went downtown in the car we rented.

The hotel

The hotel costs 43 euros for night, so a total of 86 euros for person.

At 7pm we went to dinner at the Almeria restaurant and we ate churrasco, that is typical grilled meat, and coxin, stuffed chicken nuggets. After dinner we went shopping at the Brasilia shopping center, where there are 150 stores and bought some Brazilian-style clothes. Afterwards we went back to the hotel to sleep. In total, including dinner and shopping, we spent 187 euros.

In the afternoon we drove to Prainha do lago norte beach which is 15 km away from our hotel and there we bought some souvenirs

We wandered around the shops in downtown Brasilia and we bought two handcrafted bracelets costing 5 euros each. Afterward, we had lunch at the Pontao Lago Sul restaurant.

At the restaurant we ate Feijoada, a stew of black beans and meat then we had Brigadeiros, that are chocolate truffles. All this cost 144 Brazilian reals (25 euros)

We checked-out and left the hotel at 4:30 pm to drive to the airport to catch the return flight at 6pm

In the morning at 8:00 we went to visit the four stairs of Lucio with a bike-Tour, where we visited the most famous architectural structures of Brasilia. The tour lasted 4 hours and cost 88 euros each (157 brazilian reals). After the tour we went back to the hotel for lunch and ate bobò de Camarao, a shrimp soup with coconut milk. We spent 15 euros each.

In the evening we went to dinner at the Deboche Pub and ate Bauru, a sandwich with cheese and beef. For dinner we spent 30 euros. After dinner we went dancing at the Oscarito Brasilia nightclub and paid 20 euros each. We returned to the hotel at 3.00 a.m. by car.

After lunch we went to the hotel pool until 3.30 pm and after that we drove to the Juscelino Kubitschek bridge and took a three-hour guided tour paid 55 euros each (314 Brazilian Reals).

In the afternoon we went on a boat tour on Lake Paranoa.The tour lasted 3 hours and cost 16 euros each.

In the morning we had breakfast at the hotel with yogurt and cereals. We went on a tour to the Sao Joao Bosco Shrine, a famous church, and paid 12 euros each. Then we went to see the Memorial Jk, at the history museum and we paid 3 euros each. For lunch we went to the Santè Lago restaurant to eat Feijao tropeiro, which is a typical brasilian bean dish. We spent 20 euros.
