Guidelines/Rules

This activity will help you connect as a nanny with the children when it comes to emotional intelleigance and word association to help with creativity and innovation; 1. Start by introducing the emotions. In this activity, there are six emotions: surprise, sadness, embarrassment, fear, anger, and happiness. Here, you can explain to the children how an emotion is expressed and how to recognize it. 2. Then, it's time to practice with children. The objective of this activity is for them to be able to identify the emotion explained previously and to associate words with pictures or the descriptions of the emotions to create the connections between words and emotions. 3. Finally, the children should express how they are feeling in the moment or what might make them feel the emotions to create their own perspective or ideas.

After completing the activity, it is importantly to go over the following: 1. What impressions did the activity leave? It is important to are note and ask the child how they feel after the actiity. We want to see how impactful the activity is because we want the child to start to create their own perspectives and Ideas through this creativity and innovation. 2. Did the activity feel productive and how did it impact the following days? The goal for the activity is for it to be productive so we want to measure how productive it was by continuing similar activists and methods the next day or days after using the activity to see if it was effective. We can measure its effectiveness by continuing conversations with the children about emotions and word-association and what makes them feels certain way and gather research from the conversations. 3. Finally, would you continue to use the activity or recommend it? As nannies, we are always asking other nannies for more interactive and creactive tools to help the children grow and create their own thoughts or ideas. So if the activity left impressions and was productive, then would you recommend it to others?
