Safety

In framing, "close enough" isn't good enough. If you're off 1/4"(a quarter inch), the whole house starts to lean. Which tool will be your best friend and help you to measure up?

The framing lead asks you to mark the layout of the top and bottom plates using your measuring tape and speed square. Place the steps in order.

NEXT: Move on to the Vocabulary section and put your strategic skills into practice.

How to frame a wall: Arrange the steps in order

The full-length king studs are in place around the rough door opening. Now you need to install the horizontal beam that carries the weight and the shorter vertical studs that support the beam. Choose the correct answer.

FINAL SECTION: Are you ready to take the last challenge and demonstrate your Safety expertise?

Your build leader asks you to cut the 2x4 studs to length with a circular saw. Which safety protocols will you use to protect your face, hands, and fingers?

Order the steps from head to toe for appropriate clothing on the build site.

Congratulations!
