Visual communication is a key tool. We find it easier to ‘read’ images than to read a written text. Disciplines such as ‘Visual Thinking’ facilitate the taking of visually rich notes through the use of images, graphs, infographics, and simple drawings.

Show enthusiasm, smile, and maintain eye contact with your audience. 'The eyes, chico. They never lie.’ This will help you connect with your audience. Knock their socks off!

A great presentation ...
- Shows data in graphs.
- Uses timelines.
- Is animated and interactive.
- Excites the brain, using multimedia elements.
- Does not use bullet points to excess 🙃
- Is clear and structured.
- Tells stories hierarchically.
- Connects with your audience.
- Matches the fonts and colors to the topic.
- Includes images and entertains.

Generate experiences with your content.
Measure results and experiment.
Make sure your audience remembers the message.
Activate and surprise your audience.
It’s ordered, hierarchical, and structured.
It’s got the Wow effect. Very Wow.
Audio
If your content is interactive, it’s engaging.
Making a boring presentation will just put your audience to sleep; there’s so much text that there’s no room for an image.
A presentation is not WOW when it’s boring and your audience drifts off because they don’t understand anything.
When you make a WOW presentation, you make interactivity and animation your allies and hear your audience applaud.

Conclusions
When giving a presentation, you need to go after two main objectives: to convey information and avoid yawns. To do this, it can be good practice to make an outline and use words that will be imprinted in the memories of your audience.
Do you need more reasons to create dynamic content? No problem! 90% of the information we assimilate reaches us via sight and, what’s more, we retain 42% more information when the content moves.
With the Genially templates, you can include visual resources to wow your audience. You can also highlight a particular sentence or piece of information so that it sticks in your audience’s minds, or even embed external content to surprise them: Whatever you like!
‘Your content is good, but it’ll engage much more if it’s interactive.’-Genially
Don’t forget to publish!
Did you know? Windows allow you to add more extensive content. You can enrich your genially by including PDFs, videos, text ... The window content will appear when you click on the interactive element.
With this feature ... You can add additional content that will excite your audience’s brains: videos, images, links, interactivity ... Whatever you like!
Materials
2 circular cardboard pieces 1 pencil for making holes 1 wooden stick 6 plastic cups Adhesive tape Water from the tap
Tip: Interactivity is the key to capturing the interest and attention of your audience. A genially is interactive because your audience explores and engages with it.
The science behind it
Water has force and energy. When the water falls onto the cups, it pushes them and makes the wheel spin. This helped us understand that moving water can produce energy.
Step by Step
- We took the first circular cardboard piece.
- We attached the 6 plastic cups around it.
- We secured the cups with adhesive tape.
- We placed the second circular cardboard piece on the other side.
- We inserted the wooden stick through the center so the wheel could spin.
- We placed the water wheel under the tap.
- We observed how the water made the wheel rotate.
The challenge
To build an anemometer that could move using the wind and to observe the power of air.
Tip: Interactivity is the key to capturing the interest and attention of your audience. A genially is interactive because your audience explores and engages with it.
Materials
Paper disposable cups Straws
Pencil Push pin Scissors Pencil with an eraser
The water wheel spun very fast under the tap. Water splashed everywhere and the children were excited to see the power of water in action.
Results
At first, we waited for the wind to blow. When it finally did, the wind was so strong that the propeller came loose from the push pin and the anemometer flew across the yard. The children ran after it and had a lot of fun.
Did you know? We retain 42% more information when the content has movement. It may be the most effective resource for capturing your audience’s attention.

Science behind it
Air has force and can move objects. When the wind blows, it pushes the cups and makes the propeller spin. This helped us understand that wind can create motion and energy.
Step by Step
- We cut the paper cups in half.
- We made holes through the cups using a pencil.
- We passed a straw through each cup.
- We connected the straws together.
- We formed a propeller shape.
- We attached the propeller with a push pin onto the eraser of a pencil.
- We went outside to test our construction.
The challenge
To build a water wheel that could move using the power of water and to observe how water creates energy and motion.
Tip: Interactivity is the key to capturing the interest and attention of your audience. A genially is interactive because your audience explores and engages with it.
Science in ActionOur Learning JourneyWe are delighted to present the fruits of our experimentation! This month, our students stepped away from their textbooks and became researchers, exploring the endless possibilities of Renewable Energy Sources. The Journey of DiscoveryThrough the process of experimentation, children didn't just learn what energy is; they felt how it works. Using simple materials and a lot of imagination, air, water, and the sun became our partners. Every construction you see in this digital environment is the result of testing, observation, and, above all, teamwork. Our ResultsThe results of our experiments exceeded all expectations. Students gained a hands-on understanding of complex physics concepts, developed critical thinking skills, and connected deeply with the need for a "green" planet. Most importantly, what you will see in our photos and videos is the excitement of discovery and the satisfaction of creating something with your own hands.Explore our laboratory and discover the power of nature with us!
