In South America, FUNDES promotes inclusive and sustainable development by strengthening MSMEs and community-based enterprises in strategic territories. We promote the bioeconomy and the circular economy, develop suppliers, and strengthen business capabilities to support their integration into value chains, generating employment, local resilience, and a sustainable economic transition.

In the Mexico hub, FUNDES strengthens the competitiveness of MSMEs in key sectors of the Mexico 2030 Plan through digital innovation and the promotion of sustainable economic models. We develop artificial intelligence solutions and digital training with a territorial approach, and we foster green growth, the blue economy, and an investment fund for the sustainable transition.

In the Central America and Caribbean hub, FUNDES empowers MSMEs and communities as drivers of prosperity in the region through green growth programs, social microfranchises, and the strengthening of suppliers and traditional retail channels. We integrate diagnostics, technical assistance, innovation, and seed capital, and lead a regional hub for nature-based innovation (Innovate 4 Nature) to scale solutions for climate change adaptation and mitigation.
