Part 1: Check nutrition labels in edio for sugarPart 2: Create your own balanced meal
This assignment needs to be completed in edio.
part 1: checking sugars on food labels
In edio, there will be questions where you are finding the amout of sugar in certain foods by reading a food label. Be sure to look for sugars or total sugars on the label.
part 2: create a balanced meal
You will be creating your own healthy, balanced meal. Be sure to include one food from each of the five food groups.
Example: Grilled Chicken (protein) Green Beans (vegetables) Brown Rice (grains) Strawberries (fruits) Glass of Milk (dairy)
You will need to include: 1 protein 1 vegetable 1 grain 1 fruit 1 dairy
* Please do not include ice cream, candy, bacon, or other unhealthy food items in your balanced meal.
