Weekly Student Engagement Tip
Spring Break is coming—just around the bend A well-deserved pause for both you and your students, dear friend. If you’ll be away, please share your plan. A quick note to students goes a long way when you can. Take time to review who’s nearing the end of their course, Close them out smoothly—keep everything on track, of course. And if questions arise or you’re unsure what to do, Registrars and Student Support are here to help you!
The FY26 Student Engagement PLC will be sharing tips on increasing student engagement each week. Consider adding an assignment near the beginning of the class that requires students to email you. Perhaps they can tell you what has been a surprise so far, or the most difficult thing they’re encountered, or a question they have had. Breaking the ice on email can help make it easier for them to email you later.
