DEGREE NEWSLETTER
DEGREE in action: from concept to practice across Europe
The DEGREE project has moved from design into practice. Across Europe, partners are currently piloting the DEGREE training, bringing together educators from higher education, vocational training and SMEs who are testing and refining entrepreneurial learning activities in their own contexts. This phase combines the Train-the-Trainer programme with the development of Communities of Practice, where participants exchange experiences and reflect on what works in practice. Using tools such as the EntreComp framework, the EntreDesign Canvas and the LoopMe App, they are designing and preparing learning activities to be used in their courses and workshops. At the same time, data and feedback are being collected from both trainers and participants, providing insight into how these activities perform in real settings and how they can be improved. In the coming months, these learning activities will be implemented in classrooms and workshops. At the same time, the Communities of Practice will continue to support ongoing exchange, reflection, and learning across countries and sectors.

Norway
Across the five participating countries, the DEGREE approach is taking shape in diverse but connected ways.
In Norway, partners have successfully launched their pilot activities, bringing together educators and SMEs in an interactive learning setting. The focus has been on creating an open and collaborative environment, where participants feel encouraged to share experiences and explore new approaches together. Initial sessions have demonstrated strong involvement and a willingness to actively apply the concepts introduced.

Train the Trainer
The Netherlands and Belgium
Across the five participating countries, the DEGREE approach is taking shape in diverse but connected ways.
In the Netherlands, the Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programme is currently in its start-up phase. Recruitment of participants has been successfully completed, and the first sessions are now being initiated. There is clear enthusiasm among both educators and SMEs, laying a strong foundation for the programme. The focus is on building a collaborative learning environment from the start, enabling participants to connect theory to practice. In Belgium, the Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programme is already well underway, with activities reaching the halfway point. Participants from HEI, VET, and SME contexts are learning and working together, creating a dynamic and diverse learning environment. A strong shared dynamic is emerging, where participants are not only learning new concepts but actively experimenting with them in their own professional contexts.

Bringing partners together: meeting in Finland
Oulu, Finland
With so much happening across countries, the upcoming partner meeting on the 26th and 27th of May in Oulu, Finland will be an important moment to connect these experiences.
Partners will reflect on the progress made so far, exchange lessons learned from the pilot activities, and align on the next steps of the project. It will also provide an opportunity to further strengthen collaboration and ensure that insights from each country contribute to the overall development of the DEGREE approach.

DEGREE in action: from concept to practice across Europe
The DEGREE project has moved from design into practice. Across Europe, partners are currently piloting the DEGREE training, bringing together educators from higher education, vocational training and SMEs who are testing and refining entrepreneurial learning activities in their own contexts.
