How to play Jeopardy

Today we are going to play a review game Jeopardy style. It is very important that you follow the instructions so we can have an effective, and most of all, FUN review!

INSTRUCTIONS

• You will be divided up into teams and put into breakout "rooms"
• You will NOT join the breakout room. This is simply so I can "see" which team answers the question first.
• I will display the gameboard and we will "roll the dice" to see which team goes first.

INSTRUCTIONS on how you will answer

• Each team will signal they would like to answer the question by clicking their "Team Response Emoji"
• Group one: 👏 Clap emoji
• Group two: ✋ Raise Hand emoji
• Group three: 👍 Thumbs Up
• When someone on your team thinks they know the answer, put the emoji up. Whomever "buzzes in" first will have 30 seconds to answer the question.

INSTRUCTIONS on how you will score

• Typical "Jeopardy" scoring will apply and I will keep track
• Correct answers earn points; incorrect answers allow other teams to "steal" the question.
• If your team member incorrectly answers the question, your team must let the other teams attempt to answer the question.

• In the last round, teams can wager points and answer one final question.
• I will give your team 2 minutes to determine how much your team would like to "wager."

tips and tricks

• Do I need to answer the question in the form of another question like real Jeopardy?
• No. A regular answer will suffice.
• Do I need to be succinct and concise in my answers?
• Yes! Otherwise we will be here all day.
• Do I need to have fun?
• Not necessarily, but I hope you do!
