We are launching this as a Beta product. This allows us to move quickly, gather feedback, and continue improving the API experience before launching it as General Availability (GA).
Note: This will NOT be available in self-serve, API Playground, or in the sandbox at time of launch.
ACCESS & TESTING RECCOMENDATIONS:
PDL employees can configure access to the endpoint in the Sales Dash.
We recommend providing customers trial access of 5K credits with a 2 month expiration date (anyone at PDL can provision test credits). This amount will likely work for most prospects, but please adjust as needed for specific customer use cases.
BETA GOALS:
Launching in Beta gives us the flexibility to iterate on the API and schema as needed, without the longer timelines required for formal breaking change notifications. It also sets clear expectations to customers that this is an evolving product shaped with customer input.
Our goal is to refine the experience with early users before moving to GA.
Customer discovery validated the core features, which we prioritized first. While we've identified additional improvements, we're holding off until they're confirmed through real customer use cases.
