This checkered flag is used to indicate to operators that the track is temporarily unavailable. It signals the presence of personnel working on the installations or performing maintenance operations. The track is therefore considered neutralized and must not be used under any circumstances.

Green: the track is not protected; it is therefore clear, and no operators are working on it. Yellow: the track has been assigned to operators by the coordinator, but they are not yet present on site. Red: operators are currently on the track. In this situation, the train may move, and the overhead line may be live, creating an electrical hazard.
