2. PD U2 FORM
First, you need to apply at the Federal Employment Agency for the approval to transfer your benefits (PD U2 form).
You must be available to the Federal Employment Agency for at least 4 weeks before your departure.
3. WAITING PERIOD
Maybe you'll find a job in Germany after all — you must stay here for 4 weeks. Anyone who is unemployed in Germany must be available to the German labor market for at least 4 weeks before moving abroad.
4. REGISTRATION AS JOB SEEKER
After your arrival, you must register at the employment authority in the new country. Register as a job seeker no later than 7 days after your arrival to avoid any delays.
