Weigh out Pros and Cons

A National Tragedy (like 9/11) often makes people stop and think about what is important to them and re-prioritize. If it still works best for you and your family to continue working (if you have a family), then great! Maybe working from home still allows you the flexibility you need! (Stay on this space if you choose this option) If quitting your job and focusing on your family is what is most important to you, and it works out financially for you and your family, then maybe that is what you should consider! It is up to you! (Move ahead to the star if you choose this option)

There is no wrong answer!

Whether you choose to keep your current job or look for a new job, there is no right or wrong answer. You have to choose the option that works best for you and your family at the time! What works best now, might not work best in 5 years. It's a tough decision but life comes with a lot of tough choices!

Stay the Course
Change College Majors

Maybe the career fair sparked some new ideas and interests. Maybe you had already been considering some new ideas anyways. Your life is not set in stone! You can change majors or get multiple degrees! It is your life to decide what you want to do with!

Once you have your mind set on something, you stick with it! That's great! No one is going to persuade you to change your mind and you know what you want! Stick with it, you are going to go places!

Disadvantages: Are you missing out on other opportunities? Are there other careers to explore that you aren't considering? How do you know if you don't try some of the other careers?

Disadvantages: Might have to pay more money and take more classes to finish a new degree. Are you going to wish that you had stayed with the original degree? How close are you to finishing the original degree?

Stay on this space.

Try the New Career

Life is full of unexpected chances! Take the chance! If it sounds incredible, maybe it will be! If you don't like it, you find a new job!

Disadvantages: Are you going to hate it? Will you have to find a new job in a few months? Will you miss out on a career in your original path by trying this path out?

College might be the best option for some students! If you like to learn and don't mind school, continuing your education for another 2, 4 or more years is not a bad idea. A college degree will increase your employability, increase wages, and gives you the satisfaction of knowing that you have that degree and no one can take it from you.

Move ahead to Start College.

Trade schools are a great option for students who are going into careers in the trades such as construction, service trades and industrial trades. Careers such as HVAC, welding, healthcare, culinary arts, and cosmetology can all be learned at trade schools. These facilities are hands-on so students get to practice the application of what they are learning. They are typically cheaper than a full 2 or 4 year college degree.

Straight to the workforce is a great option for some students! You may already have a career locked down that you are headed for or maybe you're still finding one and that's ok! By finishing high school, you are still likely to make more money and have more success finding work!

Each player must choose a color: blue, green, yellow, or pink. This gives them a token to mark their position and 10 houses to indicate the properties they acquire throughout the game. Each player must take their colored token and place it on the starting space. To start playing, click on the dice and move your token to the corresponding space. On each ? space, click on the ? and a question card will pop up. If you answer correctly, place one of your houses on that space. Congratulations, you have acquired a new property! If you don't answer correctly, don't put a house on the space but remain on the space. Special spaces: Roadblocks - If you land on a roadblock, click on the icon. A question will pull up. Answer the question on the card. Follow the directions on the answer card when it comes up to tell you what to do with your token. If you land on a Self-Confidence Challenge space - follow the directions on the space and remain there until your next turn. Once all players have circled the entire board one time, the player who has the most houses on the board wins! In the event of a tie, the win goes to the person who finished the game first.
