Japanese numbers are easy to build! Learn 1–10, then use じゅう (10) to make bigger numbers. After 10, the basic pattern is: [number] + じゅう(10)+ [number] Examples: 11 = じゅういち (10 + 1) 20 = にじゅう (2 × 10) 25 = にじゅうご (2 × 10 + 5)30 = さんじゅう (3 × 10)99 = きゅうじゅうきゅう (9 × 10 + 9)
