Ronald McDonald House

The organization provides aid to families with children recieving medical treatmnet, offering houses, meals, and a comfortable place to stay near hospitals. Volunteers help by cooking meals, organizing donations, supporting daily operations, and sometimes hosting activities for children. This offers a meaningful way for students to build empathy and provides a perspective on helping others in times of need.

North Texas Food Bank (NFTB)

The organization fights hunger across North Texas by distributing millions of meals through locl partner agencies, and volunteers help keep that mission running by sorting, packing, and boxing food or assisting with distribution to families in need. For students, it's a menaingful way to earn service hours, while building teamwork, responsibilty, and communication skills.

Students can submit reviews through a Canvas course, choosing either a video format or a written essay to express their thoughts on a book. This opportunity not only helps promote reading within the school community but also allows students to build communication, analysis, and presentation skills. It’s an easy and engaging way to contribute while doing something many students already enjoy.
