The Ourense Official Language School (EOI), within the framework of the eTwinning project Roman Footprint Across Borders and in conjunction with its accredited Erasmus+ project 2025-1-ES01-KA121-ADU-000323352, organized a visit to the Santomé hill fort. Our guide, Abraham, explained the evolution of this site from the Iron Age to the Galician-Roman period. This area was occupied between the 1st and 5th centuries AD, demonstrating how Roman customs and practices coexisted in perfect symbiosis with earlier traditions, creating models that would endure for a long time in rural Galicia.
Many thanks to our adult students who participate in these projects. Accompanying them on their lifelong learning journey is an honor and a great source of motivation for us.
