The society of the snow is :
- based on a true story
- the story of a rugby team from uruguay whose plane crashes in the andes mountains in 1972
- stucks with no food or help
- they wait for rescue
- to survive they eat bodys of the dead passengers
- 2 survivors decide to cross the mountains for help
- 16 people are rescued
Fernando Parrado
i will talk about nando Parrado
He was born in 1942 . At the time of the crash, he was only 23 years old. During the accident, he was seriously injured and lost his mother and his sister. Since this, he showed strength and courage. Later, he decided to cross the Andes mountains with an other survivor, Roberto Canessa, to find help. They walked for 10 days in very dangerous conditions. Today Nando Parrado is still alive and he is about 76 years old .

I don’t know if i would make the same choices.
It is easy to judge, but in such situation, every things is different.
I think we can’t judge them because they had no choices. I respect their courage.
