Dolly The Sheep

Dolly the sheep was born in 1996 at the Roslyn Institute. She was created by scientists using a process called cloning, where the DNA from an adult sheep was placed into an egg cell.

Death of Princess Diana

Diana, Princess of Wales died on August 31, 1997, after a car crash in Paris.She was in a car with her companion Dodi Fayed when their driver, Henri Paul, lost control while speeding and trying to avoid paparazzi. The crash happened in the ponte de l'Alma tunnel.

The debut of Euro

The euro was officially introduced on January 1,1999, as a new currency used for electronic payments and banking by several European countries. At first it wasn't physical money yet, coins and notes only came later in 2002. The euro was created to make trade and travel easier between countries in the European Union.

O.J. Simpson murder

O.J. Simpson was a famous American football player, actor, and celebrity. He was accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman in 1994. The prosecution argued it was driven by jealousy and a history of domestic violence.
