Activity description in our application form: - Workshop for students on the following topics: 1st session: European Citizenship – values of the European Union and the foundations of democracy in Europe (03/2026) (...) - Feedback from students on the modules - Development of additional teaching materials for the modules in the spirit of peer learning by international student groups - Fostering emotional engagement and a deeper understanding of democratic values among participating students through collaboration in international teams

Video introduction: A conversation among students about boring lessons, the values of the European Union are unimportant and boring, (e.g., using Plotagon) Group brainstorming: Why do these values matter to you? In what situations are you affected? Brainstorm a list of situations (maybe use prompt cards for inspiration if needed)

Groupwork in international teams: Exploration of ideas/situations proposed by the students in depth. Groups simulate situations were they are affected by european values. Groups develop/discuss solutions together and present them (podcast/video/speech…). Both positive and negative situations are encouraged. Possible idea: Have them present black-and-white situations. What happens in different situations when the values of the European Union are lived out or not? Which specific values are affected in each case?
