Athian Akec is a political educator, writer and community organiser focused on political imagination and youth participation. His work includes producing the Beyond Black History Month series for i-D Magazine, writing for major UK outlets and using his voice to amplify the stories of those who cannot tell their own.
Mateo Bergamini
Mateo Bergamini, founder of Shout Out UK, works to combat disinformation online. He is currently on the News Guard's Board of News Literacy Advisors, a member of Meta’s EU Digital Working Group, and the Editorial Board for the Digital Citizenship Map. He is dedicated to teaching young people media literacy and efforts have made his company a multi-award winning social enterprise.

Laura Bates, founder of the Everyday Sexism project and author of eight books, uses her voice and platform for women's rights and gender equality. Her project highlights real experiences of sexism through anonymous entries. Some of her books include “Men Who Hate Women,” “Everyday Sexism,” “Girl Up” and “The New Age of Sexism: How the AI Revolution is Reinventing Misogyny.”
