Admin
There are three different types, each with their own set of permissions:
User Admin
Group Admin
Platform Admin
Catalog
A group's collection of content—such as courses and paths—available for its learners to access freely and at any time. Adding content to a catalog will automatically generate a post on the group's newsfeed to announce the presence of the new content. Not to be confused with the library.
Coach
Coaches oversee their group. They can:
Create path sessions
Share courses & paths
Manage group newsfeeds
Track group statistics
Track course and path statistics (if they also have the editor role)
Send reminders to users
Contributor
Contributors can create content, and update their own content. They can:
Create courses
Create paths
Create path sessions
Create projects & learning needs
Moderate course forums and path forums
Translate content (if they have the Globalization Solution)
Track course and path statistics (if they also have the coach role)
Editor
Editors can create content, and update their own content and the content of their group. They can:
Create courses
Create paths
Create path sessions
Create projects & learning needs
Moderate course forums and path forums
Translate content (if they have the Globalization Solution)
Track course and path statistics (if they also have the coach role)
Learner
Learners can play courses and paths. They can also:
Search for content
Use the mobile app
Write in the forums and newsfeeds
Bookmark content and create playlists
Edit their personal settings
Library
A group's shared repository of content among editors and coaches. Content in the library can be used to build paths or shared with groups' catalogs. Not to be confused with the catalog.
Manager
Managers have extended permissions over specific users, regardless of those users’ groups. They can:
Track statistics for their managees
Send reminders to their managees
Manage skills for their managees
Any user can be added as a manager.
Owner
Owners can do all that platform admins can, and also:
Manage plans & billing
Change the platform owner
There can be only one owner per platform.
Path
A training object made up of steps—such as courses, classrooms, other paths, or assessments—that guide learners through a topic. Steps can be completed in a linear or flexible order.
Path Session
A specific instance of a path, with a defined start date and an optional end date, used to enroll learners and track their progress within that path.
Platform Group
The top-level group of your 360Learning platform. It's the parent group for all the groups in your organization. In the left navigation sidebar, the icon of the platform group has a golden crown at the bottom right.
Reaction
After completing a course, users are able to leave feedback on a course by selecting one of the following reactions:
I like it
I learned something
This is outdated
I didn't get it.
The reactions can then be viewed under the course statistics.
Session
Can mean one of two things:
A path session is a path happening in a defined time range.
A browser session is a continuous period of connection to the platform.
