media project 1:

podcast ••

Description

This podcast explores the concept of sleep hygiene and explains why many people feel tired even after getting seven or eight hours of sleep. It introduces sleep hygiene as the daily habits and environmental factors that influence sleep quality, highlighting the role of circadian rhythms, a consistent sleep schedule, and the sleep environment. The episode discusses how factors such as light exposure and daytime behaviors, including caffeine intake, can disrupt restorative sleep, even when sleep duration appears adequate. Listeners are also given practical, realistic strategies, such as creating a wind-down routine, improving the bedroom environment, and strengthening the association between bed and sleep, to help them make small changes that support better sleep and overall wellbeing.
