Hacker
A hacker is a person who has a deep understanding of systems, computers, networks, or software and uses this knowledge to explore, modify, or test how these technologies work.
The word doesn't necessarily mean "criminal." It can refer to very different profiles:
Ethical hacker: finds security flaws to fix problems, with permission.
Malicious hacker: breaks into systems, steals data, or causes damage.
Researcher/enthusiast: enjoys disassembling, understanding, and improving technology.
Virus
A computer virus is a type of malicious program that can infect a computer, replicate itself, and spread to other systems. Viruses can cause problems such as slow computer performance, file deletion, and data theft.
Common ways viruses spread:
Downloading infected files or software
Opening malicious email attachments
Visiting unsafe websites
Using infected USB drives
Not all viruses are obvious; some act silently in the background. Be careful.
Phishing
Phishing is a fraudulent scheme designed to deceive people and obtain personal information or access to accounts. Scams can occur online, over the phone, or in person.
Phishing – Fake emails or messages that steal passwords or credit card information. Scams are everywhere online, so it is crucial to remain cautious and verify sources.
