Farsala

Farsala is a historic town in central Greece, closely connected with Greek mythology and ancient history. According to legend, it is the homeland of the great hero Achilles and his mother, the sea goddess Thetis.

The monument depicts the famous moment when Thetis dips Achilles into the sacred waters of the River Styx to make him invincible, holding him by his heel, which explains the origin of the expression “Achilles’ heel.” This statue symbolizes strength, protection, and the deep bond between mother and son, while highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Farsala and its connection to ancient Greek myths.

POSTOJNA CAVE

Postojna Cave is one of the most famous caves in the world and the largest cave system in Slovenia. It is over 24 kilometers long. Visitors can travel through the cave by a small underground train, which makes the visit very special and exciting.

Inside the cave, you can see amazing stalactites and stalagmites that formed over thousands of years. The cave is also home to a rare animal called the olm, sometimes known as the “baby dragon.” It is a unique and unforgettable natural attraction.

LAKE BLED

A beautiful alpine lake with a small island and a medieval castle on a cliff. It is one of the most famous and romantic places in Slovenia.

THE HEART-SHAPED VINEYARDS

The heart-shaped vineyards in Špičnik are one of the most romantic spots in Slovenia. From a special viewpoint, the road between the vineyards looks like a big heart. It is a beautiful place for photos and a popular destination for couples. Visitors can also taste excellent local wine and enjoy the peaceful countryside view.

The Museum of the Royal Tombs of Aigai in Vergina is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world, as it houses the tombs of the Macedonian kings, including Philip II of Macedon, father of Alexander the Great.

THE HIGH BRIDGE OF SERVIA

Servia

The High Bridge of Servia was built to connect the two banks of the then newly created artificial lake Polyphytos, a long, narrow artificial lake in the valley of the Aliakmonas River, changing once again the geomorphological map of the country. In fact, for many years after its construction, it was considered one of the largest in all of Europe.

THE VILLAGE OF SUBCETATE

Right in the heart of Harghita, our friendly rooster found a truly blessed place: the village of Subcetate. There, he discovered more than just a beautiful corner of nature; he found a wonderful community of hardworking and kind-hearted people who welcomed him into their homes with open arms. As he looked around, he saw rolling green hills that seemed to touch the very tips of the clouds, and he took a deep breath of the fresh, crisp mountain air.
