How we do it:
WAL are ships traveling through the solar system and sometimes beyond. We orbit around planets to collect resources when necessary.
Every little spaceship is a ''biome'' that produce it's own ressources and live in it's own way depending on the biome. Two or three time a year, The Great Reunion happens, where every spaceships reattach together and trade ressources.
Each ship is like a small floating city travelling through space. They all have their unique trait, depneding on what their biome can offer, or their residents' overall specialty, such as an aboundance of mecanics in the same ship.
