Course Reflection:

I liked how quick-paced this class was and how we were able to learn a lot about digital culture in a short amount of time. Even though the class moved quickly, the assignments were manageable, and the directions were always very clear, which made it easy to stay on track. I also liked that we talked about a lot of real-world topics related to technology and the internet, which made the material feel more relevant and interesting. One assignment I could have skipped were the Edpuzzles. They were helpful for understanding some of the concepts, but they felt a little repetitive at times. Other than that, I thought most of the assignments were useful and helped reinforce what we were learning in the class. Overall, I think the class was set up really well and I don’t have many suggestions for improvements. Everything was organized clearly and it was easy to understand what was expected for each assignment. I also liked how the course was structured so that we could learn a lot in a shorter winter session. In the future, I plan to apply what I learned about digital culture, digital footprints, online privacy, and cybersecurity to my everyday life. This class made me more aware of how technology impacts society and how important it is to be careful about what we share online. I think the information from this class will definitely be useful as technology continues to play a bigger role in our lives.
