What I Liked in GIS4623: One thing I liked about this class was learning more about cybersecurity and how much technology and the internet affect everyday life. It made me realize how connected everything is online and how important it is to be careful with the way we use the internet. I also thought it was interesting to learn about digital culture and how people interact and present themselves online. Assignment I Could Have Skipped: If I had to choose one assignment, it would probably be the personal branding assignment. I did not fully understand the point of it or how it really applied to me. Even though I was a little unsure about it, I still had fun working on it and putting it together. Suggested Revisions: One thing that could make the course better would be adding more examples of real situations involving malware and computer viruses. Looking at real cases could help students understand how these threats spread online and how people actually get infected. It would also make it easier to learn how to recognize and avoid them. How I Will Apply GIS4623: I will apply what I learned in this class by being more careful about what I post online and by paying more attention to how I use the internet. I will also be more aware of my digital footprint and try to protect my personal information since there are many risks online that people do not always notice.
