The Vision

The goal of this collection is to bring the timeless legacy of the image of Almanzo Wilder into today’s fashion trends. By blending the "rugged-romantic" character from Little House on the Prairie with the comeback of 70s vintage and Americana styles, we can create a brand that connects with long-time fans while also capturing the "New Vintage" market.

This 70s-inspired ringer tee is a direct extension of the Little House visual identity. I used the official brown shade specified in the brand book, paired with a matching mustard yellow for a true vintage feel. The centerpiece is a custom screen print of a cinematic still from the show.

For those who want the message to take center stage, this version of the "Little House Forever" tee moves away from the large heart and puts the focus entirely on the text. I scaled up the typography across the chest to make it bold and easy to read from a distance. It’s a simple, powerful way to show the love for the legacy.

Design Pillars

The Character: This collection celebrates Almanzo Wilder by using images that capture his sweet and kind nature. We’ve chosen visuals that stay true to the character fans have loved for generations. The 70s & Western Revival: Drawing inspiration from the current popularity of "70s Western" (as seen in brands like Brixton and Ralph Lauren), the designs utilize warm earth tones, retro typography, and rugged textures. Cultural Context: This direction is backed by current pop-culture trends, successful celebrity brand collaborations, and a high demand for high-quality, story-driven fan merchandise.

002 Color Change

Changed orange color to the brand yellow to be in compliance with the brand book.

003 Brand Colors

This iteration incorporates the full brand palette into the backdrop. The typography remains in the Thirsty Rough (clean version) using our signature Brown and Beige to maintain brand hierarchy.

Popular Candle Type

Smells like... (insert person)

There is a growing market trend of 'character-inspired' candles that allow fans to bring the atmosphere of their favorite shows into their homes. We see a significant opportunity to develop a signature scent for Almanzo Wilder. This would offer a new, immersive product category for the Little House franchise at a fraction of the R&D and production costs of a traditional personal fragrance. We can explore various logistical paths—from small-batch artisan collaborations to private label options—to bring this to life efficiently.

002 Font Change

The design features the brand’s signature Thirsty Rough font. To ensure a clean finish, the distressed texture has been removed, leaving a solid silhouette. The typography is rendered exclusively in the brand's core Brown and Beige palette.

Design 002 - Font Change + Color

This version utilizes the Clarendon typeface for the "Little House" text, ensuring alignment with the official brand book. The red from the heart is direct from the brand book colors.

Design 002: Font Change

I’ve swapped the font for 'Little House' to Clarendon, using this brand-standard typeface
