April Fools idea

I love jokes, playing jokes and jokes being played on me. Any chance you can take a breath and smile, giggle and laugh is a chance I want to take. Anyone who can distract and deflect people enough to get an April Fools joke to fool people is a gift. I think using MagicSchool you can make that happen, even on April 1. When you are setting up one of the dozen bots available you can add things like the facts that the bot knows. After the bot is set up with background knowledge, you can look into the area of the tool where you set up the student guardrails. This section is where you might add things like what the bot will do if the student enters inappropriate conversations. We are accustomed to having the bot redirect the student, but what if you took things further?
What if we asked the bot to make all responses in Gen Z slang? Here are 10 other ideas for having a little fun with your students. Let me know what you come up with.

I met with Mr. Clark this month in the Middle School. If you are not familiar with who Mr. Clark is I think you will be after this short read. The beloved science teacher known for encouraging curiosity, being the advisor to the A/V club, helping with the radio tower, and explaining scientific concepts like parallel dimensions came to us from Hawkins middle school back in 1999. Mr. Clark was interested in setting up a MagicSchool room for his classes. This room would have chatbots "from another dimension" This was obviously a little sci-fi to engage the class. The Bots names were all taken from the role playing game, dungeons and dragons.

These names included "Mind Flayer" "Demogorgon" and "Vecna" of all things. What an imagination on Mr. Clark. No wonder he is so popular among the students.
