Mihai Eminescu is considered the greatest poet in Romanian literature and the national poet of Romania. He was born on January 15, 1850, and became famous for his romantic and philosophical poetry. His works often explore themes such as love, nature, time, and the universe. One of his most famous poems is *Luceafărul*, which is considered a masterpiece of Romanian literature. Besides writing poetry, he also worked as a journalist and wrote about society, culture, and politics. Even today, Mihai Eminescu remains one of the most important cultural figures in Romania. 📚

Discovering Mihai Eminescu
Kindergarten children discovered Mihai Eminescu by first solving a puzzle with his portrait. After that, they listened to some of his poems and talked about them together. The children also received a visit from the librarian, who taught them one of his poems. Inspired by his work, they drew pictures of Mihai Eminescu and created their own small book of poems. At the end of the activity, the parents received a challenge to write a short poem using four words chosen by the children. ✏️📚🎨

Nana Mouskouri is a famous Greek singer. She was born in Chania, on the island of Crete. Nana Mouskouri has sung in many languages and is loved all over the world. She is famous for her beautiful voice and signature glasses. She also works to promote peace and culture. Nana Mouskouri has recorded over 200 albums in different languages!

The Greek team explored the famous singer Nana Mouskouri. We revealed her face by solving a digital puzzle, which made the activity fun and interactive. After that, we listened to some of her songs and learned more about her music. Finally, we danced to traditional Greek tunes, which helped us experience a part of Greek culture.

Constantin Brâncuși is considered a true hero of Romanians in the field of art, because he made Romanian culture and talent known throughout the world. Through his original and symbolic sculptures, he showed the beauty and depth of Romanian traditions.
Although he lived abroad for a long time, Brâncuși never forgot his roots. He created famous works inspired by the spirituality of the Romanian people, such as the Column of Infinity, the Gate of the Kiss and the Table of Silence, a sculptural ensemble located in the city of Târgu Jiu. These works are today important symbols of Romania.
Through his talent, work and passion, Constantin Brâncuși became a role model for Romanians and a personality who carried the name of Romania throughout the world.

Rita Levi Montalcini is a true hero in Italy because in Italy because she was a great scientist who helped people understand how the brain grows and works. Because of her discovery, doctors can study diseases of the brain better.
In 1986 she won the Nobel Prize and she was the first Italian woman to receive it in science.

Also, Maria Montessori is considered a true hero in Italy because she created a new way to teach.
She believed that kids learn best by exploring, playing, and doing things themselves. Her ideas changed schools in Italy and all over the world. She helped children grow happy, confident, and independent and teachers still use her methods today.
At school, the children studied and learned together about the life and discoveries of these two extraordinary Italian women.

Edin Džeko (born 17 March 1986) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a striker and captains the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. He is the all-time top goalscorer and most capped player of the Bosnian national team. Having scored over 400 senior career goals for club and country, Džeko was named Bosnian Footballer of the Year for three years in a row. He has been nicknamed the "Bosnian Diamond".

George Enescu The Greatest Romanian composer Iulia Alice Grama, primary school teacher, Scoala Gimnaziala "Liviu Rebreanu", Bucharest, Romania
George Enescu was born in a village from Romania in Botosani County in 1881. Also he is known as a violonist and composer, he also mastered the piano which is a testimony of his musical genius. He studied the violin and composition at both at the Conservatory from Vienna and Paris afterwards.
GEORGE ENESCU - VIOLIN VIRTUOSO AND COMPOSER
The children listened to one of the most famous composition of our great composer who found inspiration in the folklore and beauties of our country: Rapsodia Romana - which is an ode to our country traditions and musical heritage.
The students drew the instruments andmade the portrait of our renowned composer, George Enescu while listening his magnificent music.
