  • Visual reminders encourage students to try nutritious foods
  • Makes the cafeteria an extension of nutrition education

HKH Learning Burst Task 2 - How to complete

Step 1: Rotate Signage

  • Ensure signage is visible and in good condition
  • Rotate periodically to keep messaging fresh

Step 2: Display Nutrition Education PromotionsExamples include:

  • Fall & Spring Nutrition Line Signage
  • USDA & TDA Posters
  • Nutrition Education Resources

Step 3: Submit Photos 📸

  • Upload 1 photo from 3 different Nutrition Education promotions
  • Photos should be uploaded to your campus folder
  • By End of School Year: At least 3 photos submitted

  • Fall or Spring nutrition flyers displayed in the serving line or bulletin boards.

Example 2: USDA, TDA & CNP Nutrition Posters

  • Posters/Visuals promoting healthy eating habits that are placed where students can easily see them.

  • Promote videos and resources during lunch periods or in your campus social media.
