GOALS

To encourage collaboration in the class.
To support the inclusion of students.
To develop writing skills.

READING OF THE SILENT BOOK "I AM BLUE"

  • We read the silent book "I Am Blue" together on the Digital Board.
  • We had our first discussion and shared reflections.

Sometimes we try to be like others to feel accepted ...

We talked about an important idea

...but then we discover the beauty of being different.

TEXT WRITING

  • Next, the students worked in small groups.
  • Each group tried to write the story of the silent book.
The group with student S. used the Symwriter program to support the writing process.

SHARING

  • After that, we read all the group texts together.
  • Then the class wrote one common text for the school radio for the International Day of Disability.

THE 4C CLASS HIVE

  • Each child created their own little bee.
  • Student S. had the special role of placing all the bees inside the class hive.
INDIVIDUAl REFLECTION
  • After the group work, each student wrote an individual text.
The title was: “Have I ever felt strange or different?”

Thank you for your attention.
