Reading - What are biographies and autobiographies?
Today, we are going to take a look at biographies and autobiographies. Do you know what the difference is between these two?
A biography is a true story of someone's life written by someone else. An autobiography is a true story of someone's life written by that person.
Have you ever written about yourself? That would be an autobiography because you wrote it yourself. If one of your friends wrote about you though, that would be a biography.
We will learn more about biographies this week because we will be reading and writing one together.
Grammar- What are comparative and superlative adjectives?
What are comparative and superlative adjectives? They definitely aren't as scary as they sound. You use them all the time! Watch the video below to find out what they are.
Journal Entry - How could I make a difference in my community?
Anyone can make a difference in his or her community. Some very important people in history weren't presidents, or even mayors. They were regular people who stood up for what they believed in and made a difference in their community.
How could you make a difference in your community? Is there something you could do to make your city or town a better place?

Writing - Who will I be writing a biography of?
Earlier, we learned that we would be writing biographies this week. Do you remember what a biography is?
A biography is a true story of someone's life, written by someone else.
Our reading selection for this week, "Working for Change," is a biography, so you will see how a biography is set up and what it looks like.
This week, you will be writing a biography about someone you know. Who will you choose? A friend? A family member? It's up to you!
Start thinking about who you would like to write about. Tomorrow, you will organize what you know about that person so that you have some ideas for your biography.
Well done
