Who is Suffragettes

The Suffragettes were activists in the early 20th century who fought for women’s right to vote.One famous leader was Emmeline Pankhurst.They organized protests, demonstrations, and campaigns to demand equal political rights for women. Their actions helped women gain the right to vote in many countries.

In 2017, the Me Too movement became global.It began following a video sharing by Alissa Milano who denounce her rape by Harvey Weinstein . Millions of people shared their stories online using #MeToo It helped raise awareness about sexual violence

Tarana Burke is a woman born in september 1973 and an american activist from New York city who started the #Metoo movement . In 2006 Burke began Metoo as a youth program for junior and high school student with the goal of addressing the rampant sexual violence in the comunity .
