Let me read the Example Text

Exploring the Green Planet

“Last one,” she sighed. The astronaut had managed to land on the final planet on her list of many. It was her last chance to find signs of life on her exploration. Soon, hazy clouds parted to reveal a strange, green world of mossy spikes. “Could we find life here?” she thought as she explored. Just then, an icy wind howled across the barbed surface of the planet. It was bitter. She trudged forwards with tired feet and began sampling the soil.

Suddenly, movement drew her gaze towards a jagged, green rock. Something with smooth purple skin and wide, curious eyes appeared from behind it. She froze. It was an alien! Then, more of them emerged with tiny wobbly legs and clammy violet fingers. The astronaut’s heart raced but she offered her hand. “I… I come in peace,” she stuttered. All became still. Too still…

Just then, the peculiar creature smiled warmly and carefully gripped the astronaut’s hand. She was led through a tunnel that spiralled down, down, down into an underground cavern. She stared in wonder as the alien pointed out floating rocks and glowing moss. The cavern walls sparkled with water droplets and the air felt soothingly warm. Down here, there were hundreds of purple aliens all busy burrowing.

Before long, the astronaut’s new purple friend was leading her deeper underground into an even warmer cavern. This cave glimmered with shimmering pools and cosy burrows fizzing with light. “Did you dig all the way down here to build where it was warmest?” she asked the alien. All the alien did was smile, and consequently, the astronaut understood. The aliens were explorers too, just like she was.

The astronaut soon learned all about the aliens and their love for digging and exploring the underground tunnels they made. They showed her the pools deep below the mossy mountains. They helped her understand how to dig for warmth. It was wonderful. As a result, she soon lost track of time and even began to forget about coming back to Earth. “Maybe I could stay?” she smiled. For now, this was somewhere she could call home too.
