An Exploding Volcano!
What Would Earth Be Like Without Volcanoes? A world without volcanoes would be very different. It might even become a dead planet. Long ago, volcanoes helped make Earth’s air and oceans by releasing gases and water. Without volcanoes, life might not exist. Volcanoes also make rich soil for plants and food. They help create new land, like islands and mountains. Without volcanoes, the Earth could become cold, flat, and lifeless.
