Measuring our environment with micro:bit

Students will: learn how to use the micro:bit as a sensor collect data on noise, light and temperature understand the relationship with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Students program the micro:bit in MakeCode to measure:

  • Temperature
  • Brightness
  • Noise level

Students discuss:

  • What are noise, lighting, and temperature?
  • How do they affect health and the environment?
