We haven't sent humans to Mars yet, but we explore the planet using rovers. Exploring Mars with rovers allows us to learn about the planet's environment.

This rover's name is Spirit. It landed on Mars in 2004.

Rovers like Curiosity and Perseverence are equipped with cameras, scientific instruments, and robotic arms. They travel across Mars, analyzing rocks and soil, taking pictures, and conducting experiments.

This is Curiosity, exploring Mars.

These rovers send data back to Earth, helping scientists study Mars's geology, climate, and potential for past life. This robotic exploration is crucial for planning future human missions to Mars.

This is Perseverence. It landed on Mars in 2021 and is still exploring today.

Phobos

Phobos is slowly traveling inward towards Mars. It is predicted that in about 50 million years, Phobos will crash into Mars or break apart. Mars has no rings, but when Phobos crashes into Mars (or breaks apart), it could create rings for Mars! Wouldn't it be so cool to see Mars with rings?

Deimos

Deimos is much smaller than Phobos and has a smoother surface with fewer craters. Deimos is one of the smallest moons in the solar system.
