En 1949, le Médecin général inspecteur Henri Rouvillois prend la présidence de l’association et la réorganise sous le nom de Comité National de Défense contre l’Alcoolisme (CNDCA). Développement de l'association
L’association se développe progressivement sur le territoire national et dans les départements d’outre-mer. Dans les années 1960, elle fonde les premiers centres de post-cure qui visent la réinsertion familiale, sociale et professionnelle des personnes alcooliques. Entre 1974 et 1980, l’association crée, par convention avec l’Etat, des Centres d’Hygiène Alimentaire (CHA) qui dispensent des consultations gratuites aux buveurs excessifs.
Les militants sensibilisent les conducteurs au risque alcool au volant et à l’instauration d’un taux maximal d’alcoolémie autorisé par des « opérations alcootests ».
L’association est agréée d’Education Populaire le 6 mai 1974.

Les activités de prévention et de soins s'intensifient
Les préoccupations de prévention et de soins ont désormais pris le pas sur les mots d’ordre de lutte ou de défense. En 1989, le CNDCA devient Association Nationale de Prévention de l’Alcoolisme (ANPA).
L’association organise plusieurs congrès et universités d’été sur des thèmes précurseurs, comme les journées Alcool et Europe à Strasbourg en 1990. Elle crée une alliance européenne de prévention, Eurocare, en se rapprochant d’une association anglaise.
En 1987, l’ANPA prend l’initiative d’un appel à l’opinion pour dire « non » à la publicité télévisée pour les boissons alcooliques qui conduira à la loi Evin de 1991. Habilitée à intenter des actions en justice, elle veille particulièrement à l’application de cette loi qui réglemente la publicité alcool.
En 1996, l’ANPA est reconnue association éducative complémentaire de l’enseignement public.

Dans le cadre de notre campagne de sensibilisation « Zéro alcool pour les ados », Addictions France a organisé des conférences gratuites et ouvertes à tous afin d’expliquer aux parents dans l’importance de retarder l’initiation de l’alcool chez les jeunes. L’objectif de ces rencontres est d’encourager le dialogue entre parents et adolescents afin de construire ensemble un environnement sécurisant pour sa santé. Addictions France poursuit cette démarche de sensibilisation avec d’autres événements comme des groupes de paroles et des échanges-débats.

Finalement renommée Société Française de Tempérance, l'association organise le premier congrès national contre l’alcoolisme (1903) et crée ainsi un mouvement fédérateur entre sociétés françaises ayant des buts similaires : la modération dans l’usage des boissons alcooliques (et non l’abstinence).

Conscients des ravages opérés par une consommation d’alcool croissante liée aux progrès de l’industrialisation, plusieurs membres des Académies de Médecine et des Sciences, dont Claude Bernard et Louis Pasteur, fondent l’Association française contre l’abus des boissons alcooliques le 2 mars 1872.

A TRAVERS LES DEUX GUERRES
Elle engage des campagnes d’information en direction de tous les milieux et auprès du Gouvernement. Elle milite pour une réduction du nombre de débits de boissons et de bouilleurs de cru, pour une augmentation des taxes sur les alcools, pour l’interdiction de l’absinthe. Adoptées pendant la Grande Guerre, la plupart de ces mesures restrictives seront ensuite supprimées. La Ligue va connaitre alors des difficultés financières et une lente perte d’audience. Au sortir de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, sans ressources et avec peu d’adhérents, l’association n’a plus guère de moyens d’agir. Elle va pourtant connaître un nouveau départ.
1905
Renforcée par l’arrivée de nombreux adhérents, la Société Française de Tempérance devient en 1905 la Ligue Nationale contre l’Alcoolisme, association privée loi de 1901. Elle compte près de 50 000 membres, parmi lesquels de nombreux instituteurs et des enfants regroupés dans les sections cadettes de tempérance. A l’époque, la Ligue ne compte que des bénévoles, militants infatigables au service de son action.

Son action est renforcée grâce aux partenariats initiés tant au niveau national que dans les territoires. Pour ses 150 ans, Association Addictions France se dote d’un nouveau projet stratégique. Intitulé #Cap2024, il traduit pleinement sa mission d’améliorer la santé en agissant sur les addictions et leurs conséquences. Dans le contexte de crise sanitaire et de crise sociale, ce projet met l’accent en particulier sur la réduction des inégalités sociales de santé et l’accompagnement des personnes vulnérables et publics fragiles.
En janvier 2021, l’association adopte une nouvelle identité, plus en phase avec la réalité de ses actions et la présence de ses équipe bénévoles et salariées sur l’ensemble du territoire national. Avec des activités alliant soin, prévention, formation et réduction des risques et des dommages, l’association est également force de proposition pour faire évoluer les opinions et contribuer à la mise en place d’une politique cohérente sur les addictions.

Nouveaux concepts
Au début des années 2000, l’ANPA intègre le concept d’addiction et se transforme en Association Nationale de Prévention en Alcoologie et Addictologie (ANPAA). L’association travaille désormais sur toutes les formes d’addictions, avec ou sans produits (addictions comportementales), licites ou illicites.
Le réseau de l’association connait un développement important, notamment par la gestion de plus de la moitié des centres d’alcoologie en France, devenus depuis des Centres de soins, d’accompagnement et de prévention en addictologie (CSAPA).

Une association reconnue d’utilité publique est une association à but non lucratif qui a reçu une reconnaissance officielle de l’État, car son action est considérée comme importante pour l’intérêt général. Cette reconnaissance montre que l’association est sérieuse, bien organisée et utile à la société. Elle lui permet notamment de recevoir des dons et des legs, et lui donne une plus grande crédibilité.

Les activités de prévention et de soins s'intensifient
Les préoccupations de prévention et de soins ont désormais pris le pas sur les mots d’ordre de lutte ou de défense. En 1989, le CNDCA devient Association Nationale de Prévention de l’Alcoolisme (ANPA). L’association organise plusieurs congrès et universités d’été sur des thèmes précurseurs, comme les journées Alcool et Europe à Strasbourg en 1990. Elle crée une alliance européenne de prévention, Eurocare, en se rapprochant d’une association anglaise.
En 1987, l’ANPA prend l’initiative d’un appel à l’opinion pour dire « non » à la publicité télévisée pour les boissons alcooliques qui conduira à la loi Evin de 1991. Habilitée à intenter des actions en justice, elle veille particulièrement à l’application de cette loi qui réglemente la publicité alcool. En 1996, l’ANPA est reconnue association éducative complémentaire de l’enseignement public.

Dans le cadre de notre campagne de sensibilisation « Zéro alcool pour les ados », Addictions France a organisé des conférences gratuites et ouvertes à tous afin d’expliquer aux parents dans l’importance de retarder l’initiation de l’alcool chez les jeunes. L’objectif de ces rencontres est d’encourager le dialogue entre parents et adolescents afin de construire ensemble un environnement sécurisant pour sa santé. Addictions France poursuit cette démarche de sensibilisation avec d’autres événements comme des groupes de paroles et des échanges-débats.

Finalement renommée Société Française de Tempérance, l'association organise le premier congrès national contre l’alcoolisme (1903) et crée ainsi un mouvement fédérateur entre sociétés françaises ayant des buts similaires : la modération dans l’usage des boissons alcooliques (et non l’abstinence).

La question de la lutte contre l’alcoolisme apparaît en France dans les années 1870. Conscients des ravages opérés par une consommation d’alcool croissante liée aux progrès de l’industrialisation, plusieurs membres des Académies de Médecine et des Sciences, dont Claude Bernard et Louis Pasteur, fondent l’Association française contre l’abus des boissons alcooliques le 2 mars 1872.

A TRAVERS LES DEUX GUERRES
Elle engage des campagnes d’information en direction de tous les milieux et auprès du Gouvernement. Elle milite pour une réduction du nombre de débits de boissons et de bouilleurs de cru, pour une augmentation des taxes sur les alcools, pour l’interdiction de l’absinthe. Adoptées pendant la Grande Guerre, la plupart de ces mesures restrictives seront ensuite supprimées. La Ligue va connaitre alors des difficultés financières et une lente perte d’audience. Au sortir de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, sans ressources et avec peu d’adhérents, l’association n’a plus guère de moyens d’agir. Elle va pourtant connaître un nouveau départ.
1905
Renforcée par l’arrivée de nombreux adhérents, la Société Française de Tempérance devient en 1905 la Ligue Nationale contre l’Alcoolisme, association privée loi de 1901. Elle compte près de 50 000 membres, parmi lesquels de nombreux instituteurs et des enfants regroupés dans les sections cadettes de tempérance. A l’époque, la Ligue ne compte que des bénévoles, militants infatigables au service de son action.

Son action est renforcée grâce aux partenariats initiés tant au niveau national que dans les territoires. Pour ses 150 ans, Association Addictions France se dote d’un nouveau projet stratégique. Intitulé #Cap2024, il traduit pleinement sa mission d’améliorer la santé en agissant sur les addictions et leurs conséquences. Dans le contexte de crise sanitaire et de crise sociale, ce projet met l’accent en particulier sur la réduction des inégalités sociales de santé et l’accompagnement des personnes vulnérables et publics fragiles.
En janvier 2021, l’association adopte une nouvelle identité, plus en phase avec la réalité de ses actions et la présence de ses équipe bénévoles et salariées sur l’ensemble du territoire national. Avec des activités alliant soin, prévention, formation et réduction des risques et des dommages, l’association est également force de proposition pour faire évoluer les opinions et contribuer à la mise en place d’une politique cohérente sur les addictions.

Dans les années 2000
Nouveaux concepts
Au début des années 2000, l’ANPA intègre le concept d’addiction et se transforme en Association Nationale de Prévention en Alcoologie et Addictologie (ANPAA). L’association travaille désormais sur toutes les formes d’addictions, avec ou sans produits (addictions comportementales), licites ou illicites. Le réseau de l’association connait un développement important, notamment par la gestion de plus de la moitié des centres d’alcoologie en France, devenus depuis des Centres de soins, d’accompagnement et de prévention en addictologie (CSAPA).
Qu'est-ce qu'une association reconnue d'utilité publique ?
Une association reconnue d’utilité publique est une association à but non lucratif qui a reçu une reconnaissance officielle de l’État, car son action est considérée comme importante pour l’intérêt général. Cette reconnaissance montre que l’association est sérieuse, bien organisée et utile à la société. Elle lui permet notamment de recevoir des dons et des legs, et lui donne une plus grande crédibilité.
