HOW bees PRODUCE HONEY?

introduction

Have you ever wondered how bees make honey? Honey is one of the most delicious and natural foods in the world. Bees work very hard to produce it. They collect nectar from flowers, carry it back to the hive, and turn it into honey. In this text, I will explain how bees make honey and why it is important.

explanation

First, bees make honey by collecting nectar from flowers. They carry the nectar in their mouths and take it back to the hive. Then, they give the nectar to other bees. The other bees receive the nectar and pass it from one bee to another. Inside the hive, the nectar slowly changes and becomes honey.

next

Next, as this happens, the nectar mixes with special substances from the bees and becomes thicker. Then, the bees put it into the honeycomb cells and flap their wings to remove the water. When it turns into honey, they close the cells with wax to keep it safe.

after

After that, the nectar is placed into the honeycomb cells. Eventually, the bees use their wings to evaporate the extra water, making the nectar thicker. Afterwards, the nectar becomes thick enough to turn into honey. Finally, the bees seal the cells with wax to store it.

conclusion

In conclusion, the bees seal the honey with a layer of wax to protect it and preserve it as food for the hive. That is how bees make honey.
