Safety is the first priority of every FIRST Robotics Competition Team.

As Safety Captain your job will be to promote, educate about and enforce safety rules on 2704.

We work in a shop full of danegerous tools, chemicals and materials, without proper safety procedures students and mentors could be seriously injured. This is where the safety subteam comes in.

THe philosophy behind safety

Roaring Robotics approach to safety is to prevent injuries and dangerous situations before they happen. The goal of a safety captain and their team is to create as few oppurtunites for accidents to happen.

Safe and Appropriate attire

The easiest way to prevent injury is to wear the appropriate clothing, this includes but is not limited too, jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes. Clothing that isn't allowed includes but is not limited too crocs, long necklaces and long loose hoodies. Hover over the Notes by the images to the right to learn more.

  • Appropriate language in the shop
  • Using equipment for its intended pupose
