Il Tello è dotato di:-Fotocamera HD (video 720p e foto) per registrare immagini dall’alto. -Decollo e atterraggio automatici, che lo rendono semplice e sicuro da usare anche per principianti. -Sensori di stabilizzazione, che permettono al drone di restare fermo in volo (hovering). -Controllo tramite smartphone o tablet attraverso un’app dedicata. -Batteria ricaricabile con autonomia di circa 13 minuti. Nella versione educativa (Tello EDU) è possibile anche programmare più droni insieme e utilizzare speciali tappetini con codici (Mission Pads) per eseguire percorsi e missioni.
Il Tello viene usato principalmente per:-Imparare la programmazione: può essere programmato con linguaggi come Scratch e Python, permettendo agli studenti di dare comandi automatici al drone (es. percorsi, rotazioni, acrobazie). -Laboratori di robotica educativa: aiuta a comprendere concetti come coordinate, angoli, distanza, velocità e problem solving. -Attività STEM pratiche: applicazione concreta di matematica e fisica (es. calcolo del tempo di volo o delle traiettorie). -Progetti multimediali: realizzazione di foto e video per attività scolastiche. -Lavoro di gruppo: sviluppo di competenze collaborative attraverso missioni e sfide tra studenti.
