Other Types of Workplace Harassment
Workplace harassment is not limited to gender or sexual behavior.
Harassment or discrimination based on any protected characteristic is prohibited and may lead to disciplinary action. Protected characteristics include:
- Age, race, creed, color, national origin
- Sexual orientation, military status, sex, disability
- Marital status, domestic violence victim status
- Gender identity/expression, familial status
- Predisposing genetic characteristics, criminal history
- Much of this training applies to all types of workplace harassment.
